Baghdad battery

Ref: 6007/AH-D

The so-called 'Baghdad battery' was found in the ruins of a Parthian village in Iraq dating back over 1,800 years. A replica has been made, and photographs are available of Dr Arne Eggebrecht electroplating a statuette using the replica battery.
